Investing in Young Futures
Each year, proceeds from the Sam Lacey Memorial Youth Basketball Tournament directly support the Advisory Committee’s scholarship fund, helping create educational opportunities and invest in the future of deserving young people. Through community support, we turn the spirit of competition into pathways for achievement, growth, and success.
What began as a celebration of Sam Lacey’s impact on the court has grown into a lasting legacy of opportunity. Today, the tournament helps open doors to higher education, empowering young people to pursue their dreams, reach their potential, and build brighter futures.
